The Hyperlite Droid Wakesurf Board brings longboard class to your behind-the-boat shenanigans. This easy rider is perfect for larger persons or smaller wakes. But don't be fooled, its large volume and tri-fin setup offer great maneuverability and down-the-line performance. Experience the vibes of a classic on the Hyperlite Droid Wakesurf Board.
EPS Core with Carbon Stringer – In addition to or instead of a traditional wood stringer, strategically place carbon laminate strips deliver strength and durability while remaining lightweight.
Handmade Epoxy Constriction – Hyperlite introduces another construction method into the Wakesurf quiver. Handmade Epoxy Construction compliments the Hyperlite range with that handmade feel at a great price. An epoxy wakesurfer is made using a polystyrene core which is coated with epoxy resin, similar to most ocean surfboard methods.
Spoon Tip Design – Provides lift and added bite on the face of the wave.
Mini-Squash Tail – A squarer back with rounded corners delivering a snappy feel with increased hold in the wave.
Single to Double Concave – Channels water down the belly of the board transitioning to dual concave exiting tail.
2.8" Tip / 0.5" Tail
Round Rail Transitions to Sharper Rail at Fins – Blending of sharper rails for speed and rounded rails for carving, cruising and feel.
Thruster / Tri Fin – Surfing's most popular setup, tri-fin is ideal for surfers of all ability levels, the 3rd or center fin provides additional stability and maneuverability.
FCS II Tool-less Fin Box – The FCS II system made it possible to install and remove your fins in seconds, without the need for any screws or tools. Game changer!
One 2.5" Fin
Two 4.5" Fins
Do Not Store in Boat Board Racks – evo does not recommend storing your wakesurfer in boat board racks. Many wakesurf boards are fragile and can be easily damaged by these racks, which is not covered under manufacturer warranty.
Aaron Stumpf – Aaron Stumpf leads the Hyperlite research and development team shaping many of our bestselling wakeboards and surfers. A product design specialist with 25 years of experience, Aaron also creates our manufacturing processes and innovative construction formulas.
