Product Info

Hyperlite Coex Wakesurf Board 2012: Brian Grubb, JD Webb, and Jimmy LaRiche designed a short board with wakeskate maneuverability, and that board is the Hyperlite Coex Wakesurf Board. Whether a rider is coming out of a bottom turn or snapping off the wake for a front side air, the Coex is built for performance.

Product Details

Construction and Materials

Monocoque ConstructionBy fusing the bottom and top layers together, this construction technique produces a more resilient board.

Layered GlassOver time woven glass fibers will separate; a deck with layered glass will have the same snap after 5 seasons as it did the first time you took it out.

Shape

Rolled edge starts softer and thicker at the tip giving the rider more of a surfy feel, then rolls to a sharper traditional wake rail toward the tail edge for added response.

Single concave for more board control

Special features

Die cut logo

Even with its small stature the Coex can still be surfed by bigger riders because it sits higher in the water than most other decks.

Comments about Hyperlite Coex Wakesurf Board 2012:

I weigh 200 lbs and ride behind a 2010 Centurion Enzo23. I weigh the boat down with 2,500 lbs and with my last board, this was more than enough. This board is too small for larger riders, as the description suggests. It would be better suited for someone between 130-170 lbs.

This wakeskate is dope, I learned on it and I got up first try, threw the rope away first try and got stuff on lock down.

Great Board for intermediate users. Having only one fin allows you to maneuver it easily and do tricks.
