Product Info

Filmmaker, artist, surfer, pioneer, legend: all of these words have been used to describe Eric Pollard over the years. From pioneering switch skiing in powder to producing prolific ski movies and redefining what it means to be a professional athlete, EP has certainly left his mark on skiing and beyond. With the Line Skis Pescado Skis + Marker Jester 16 ID Ski Bindings, we can also add visionary to that list. Bucking the trends of his previous designs, Eric set out to create a truly directional ski: one with a slid-back mounting point and a heavy swallow tail. Drawing obvious influence from fishtail surfboards and snowboards, the Pescado is designed to surf the earth, cut loose on the natural arcs and waves of the mountains, and truly allow the skier to use their own interpretation of skiing to ink an indelible mark on the terrain. Snag the Line Skis Pescado Skis + Marker Jester 16 ID Ski Bindings, and carve your own path.

Product Details

Rocker Type

Early Rise™The rise of the tip and tail begin earlier as the ski profile moves away from center, making for easier turn initiation and helping to get the skis up on plane more quickly. This also means effortless float in softer snow.

Rocker Profile20 mm Tip / 4 mm Camber / 1 mm Tail

Flex

Directional Flex™The softer tip floats & initiates turns easily while the stiffer tail provides power, stability & high speed control.

Soft FlexDesigned to turn the mountain into the white wave. Surfy, soft flex that is meant to carve a line, rather than charge it.

Sidecut

5-Cut™5 different sized sidecut radius shapes are blended into one, for intuitive control and unlimited turn shapes.

Shape

Thin Tip™ Tip and TailSuper thin core & sidewall in the tips are 100 grams lighter per pair for reduced swing weight & tip bounce.

Early Taper™The widest part of the sidecut begins tapering earlier in the tip and tail which reduces tail hook ups in powder.

Aggressive Swallowtail DesignTail cutouts force the tail of the ski into the snow, creating a dive-free, surfy feel.
