Product Info

Spawned from the same DNA as the powder proven Pescado, the all-new Line Skis Sakana Skis + Marker Griffon 13 Demo Ski Bindings bring the same directional, swallowtail creativity to a much more versatile 105mm waist width. Designed by the creative mind of Eric Pollard, the Sakana's wide forebody, directional flex and knocked out tail combine to create a ski that encourages a wide variety of turn shapes. Rediscover the euphoria of laying into carves—both on-and-off piste—with the playful, pioneering Line Skis Sakana Skis + Marker Griffon 13 Demo Ski Bindings. The revolution is here, don't get left behind.

Product Details

Rocker Type

Early Rise™Tip and tail lift away from the snow to bring the contact points closer to the center of the ski. This increases a ski's lift in deep snow and allows it to engage more quickly on hardpack.

Flex

Directional FlexThe softer tip floats and initiates turns easily while the stiffer tail provides power, stability and high speed control.

Flex Rating (1 Soft - 8 Stiff)2.5

Sidecut

5-Cut™Five different radiuses are blended into the ski's sidecut. The result? A wide variety of turn shapes and an intuitive feel.

Shape

Early Taper™The widest part of the sidecut begins tapering earlier in the tip and tail which reduces tail hook ups in powder.

Thin Tip™Super thin core & sidewall in the tips are 100 grams lighter per pair for reduced swing weight & tip bounce.

Unique Swallowtail ShapeFeaturing a styled tail knockout, the Sakana is a resolute paradigm shift ski design. At 105mm underfoot, the Sakana can exhibit a variety of turn shapes.

Core

Partly Cloudy™A blend of lightweight Paulownia and Maple creating the best strength to weight ratio of Line's offerings.
