This is the ski you wish your parents had given you as a kid. The Atomic Backland BC Mini Skis + XTE 7.5 Bindings have a scaled down fat waisted profile (90 mm is huge in a 133 length), skip the HRZN Tech tip and tail and tone down the rocker profile to make the ski more versatile on harder snow, but come up big time in the flotation department when the going gets deep. The Minis also get a Densolite foam core to keep the weight down, and Step Down Sidewall to guarantee grip on firm snow.

Rocker/Camber/Rocker Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as well as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
