The Encelias boast a 6 base melanin infused polycarbonate lens, which offers 100% UV protection, while maintaining a lightweight feel and superb clarity and definition. Their Grilamid® frame is extremely flexible, but maintains its original shape under all temps. A female specific design gives them a feminine touch and fit that you'll love. Polycarbonate Lens – Electric uses Bayer brand Makrolon raw polycarbonate material. This premium polycarbonate material is extremely lightweight, has excellent visual clarity and definition while protecting you from the Suns' harsh UV rays and Blue Light.
Frame
Grilamid® Frame – Grilamid® is a high tensile strength plastic that retains its' shape in warm temperatures. This material makes the frames extremely impact resistant, flexible, lightweight and durable. Electric uses Grilamid® in all of their molded injected eyewear.
