For both the ambitious beginner and the steeze monster that knows the best style is understated ripping, the DC Focus Snowboard is a match made in heaven. The Focus comes equipped with a full rocker and DC's Radius 2 Flat sidecut for godly jibs and excellent press-ability. Lock into pipes and slide through kinks without fear of getting leveled; a 3 Degree Bevel uplifts the edges to prevent a little rust from turning you into a rail taco. By using a skate inspired construction technique, DC has managed to bring the Focus's weight down to unheard of levels while remaining strong after a season of rail jams.

Rocker Profile | -6 mm – The board is flat between the stance & curved away from the snow outside the stance, resulting in a playful and forgiving ride.

3 Degree Bevel – By shaving 3˚ of angle off the traditional 90˚ edge, advantage is gained both for beginners who get a forgiving, catch-free ride, and experts looking for a board that's jib-ready right out of the wrapper.
Radius 2 Flat – Flat surfaces at the nose and tail provide essential lift in deep powder while the radius blends perfectly into the sidecut, enabling effortless edge-to-edge transitions while turning.

Rocker A rocker board side profile is the opposite of a camber board, with a smooth downward curvature to it and less edge contact length when the board is weighted. Rocker boards float well in powder and pivot more easily underfoot. They also tend to be less “hooky” at both tip and tail and better for landing spin maneuvers when you don’t quite have enough rotation.

Medium The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
