Dynamic Camber

Freestyle 3BT™ with SideKick™ – 3rd generation Freestyle 3BT™ has the added benefit of SideKick. The sidebase and centerbase are proportional in width. The sidebase starts with a medium uplift angle and dramatically increases at the widest point of the board. This shape is the most versatile in the Bataleon line and offers a powerful and reactive ride with freestyle tendencies and powder float.

Flex Rating – 7 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)

99% Twin – Keeping true twin beneath the contact points with a longer nose and shorter tail. This shape produces a twin feel with increased performance in powder, great for all-mountain slayers.

SideKick™ – SideKick™ dramatically increases the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation smoother, increases float in powder and improves handling of the board in rough terrain.

Light Core – Bataleon's 50-50 Swiss paulownia and poplar woods blend for optimal strength to weight properties.

Triax Laminate – Three-way weave of fiberglass is light, strong, and responsive. Bataleon uses this to beef up the flex pattern.

Carbon Stringers – Carbon is feather light and adds explosive pop, precise edge control, reactive response, and smooth dampening to a board. It is used in different ways to fine-tune a boards ride characteristics.

Dual Radial Super Tubes – Six hollow carbon core inserts parallel to the board radius for extra power transfer to the edges.

ABS Solid Walls – Tried and trusted ABS sidewalls for the best flex to strength ratio.

Ultra Glide S – Maximum molecular content for a hardened sintered base that hauls ass. More molecules mean a denser base that can take a beating using ISO-SPORT7000 series as backbone.

Flip Flop Base – Boards with Flip Flop bases have two or more base color variations. Bataleon uses this process to reduce waste.
