The future is now. Don't be misled by the irregular shape, Bataleon knows your toes are different than your heels, therefore the Bataleon Evil Twin Asym Snowboard takes away excess control from your toes and shifts it to your heels where they need it most. End result? A more balanced natural feeling when riding and straighter jump takeoffs. It's also still a twin board because the nose mirrors the tail exactly. So goofy or regular, you'll reap the benefit of the asymmetrical shape. Of course it also comes with a Tri-Ax Laminate, Core Core, and Sintered Base, so you know this board's ready to shred. Take a step into the new world of snowboarding with the Bataleon Evil Twin Asym.
Triple Base Technology (TBT) – Triple Base Technology divides the nose and tail area into 3 parts: 1. The left sidebase for turning left. 2. The center flat middle base for going straight. 3. The right sidebase for turning right. Combining a full tip to tail classic camber with a rail to rail concave, it gives the looseness of a rocker shape board with the pop and response of camber. On edge, the camber is loaded and ready to pop you into your next turn. Meanwhile, the edge is fully engaged with a solid power distribution along a smooth edge curve.
Flex Rating: 5 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) – A medium flex for easy turn initiation and forgiving landings
Asym TBT – This is an asymmetric version of Twin TBT. In this shape, the heel edge sidebase begins closer to the tips of the board than the toe edge sidebase. This results in a wider centerbase section between the feet on the heel edge, making that edge more stable when straight lining and during the very early stages of turn initiation. Asym TBT gives you more looseness where you can handle it (toeside) and more stability where you want it (heelside). Asym TBT is still symmetrical with respect to the nose and tail, so you get exactly the same benefits switch as forwards.
Core Core – Poplar core with hardwood reinforcements along the insert rows. This increases the board's core strength and channels stored energy to deliver more pop.
Tri-Ax Laminate – Tri-ax laminates over and under the wood core include fiberglass layers aligned in three directions (two at 45 degrees to the edges and the extra one along the boards length). This generally increases the stiffness and stability of the board to deliver maximum precision in your riding.
Sintered Base – Fast! Great wax absorption and as hard as nails. These bases come with factory wax already infused. Top it off regularly to get the most out of the base.
Party Pattern 4 x 2 – The 4 x 2 / 24 pattern offers maximum precision for your binding's position with 24 inserts for a large total stance width range.
