A quick search of your streaming video provider of choice will reveal you need speed, pop, and a significant amount of hang time to pull off a crossrocket air--arms crossed on their way to grabbing opposite sides of the nose, it's a lost classic from days past. The Rome Crossrocket Snowboard is the perfect board for the task. It's got traditional camber between the bindings, giving you the boost you'll need off the lip. Its shape is very nearly twin, so whether you choose a backcountry booter or a park hit to achieve this elusive trick, you'll be well-balanced in the air. Carbon reinforcements and NoHang-Ups rockered tips will help you stomp and ride away.
NoHang-Ups Pop 2.0 Camber – A diamond of positive camber under foot and throughout the centerline, combined with continuous 3D rocker in the nose and tail.
Response Rating – 8 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)
Directional Twin – These shapes are predominantly twin and drive the versatile, kill-anything performance of Rome's all-mountain freestyle snowboards. From contact point to contact point (100% of the running length), these boards are twins -- the shape and core profile in the front part of the board is the same as in the rear of the board. The non-twin portion comes when the nose and tail start to rise. In this shape, the distance from the front contact point to the top of nose is slightly longer than the distance from the rear contact point to tip of the tail.
QuickRip Sidecut Technology – Teamed up with Rome's rocker boards, the goal with QuickRip Sidecut is to create a board that does two things: it needs to be nimble and maneuverable at slow speeds, and it also needs to be powerful and precise at high speeds. Rome achieves this by integrating two off-set sidecuts that create one zone in the nose, one between the feet and one in the tail. Where the center section meets the other two sections, Rome has created Mid-Board Contact Points. These Mid-Board Contact Points serve as the end of the running length at slow speeds, giving the board fine-tuned control. They also serve as edge "bumps" that grip the snow and increase precise power at high speeds.
ButterOut Transition Zones – Smoother presses and playful butters are the name of the game with Rome's Butterout Transition Zones. By elongating the transition from the boards' sidecut into the nose and tail the board, Rome effectively mellows out edge engagement for smooth butters.
SuperPop Core Matrix – The lightweight, super responsive core found in many of Rome's higher performing boards, this matrix features poplar for power and three zones of low-density wood for lightness.
90 / 90 Carbon Hybrid Laminate – Thin bundles of carbon are woven into a 90 degree biaxial glass on top, which works with another 90 degree biaxial glass on the bottom. The result is pop from the carbon and an all-around freestyle flex from the 90 degree fibers.
HotRods | Carbon Single Barrel – A single rod of carbon milled into the centerline of the tip and tail for higher ollies, stronger slashes and stompier landings.
Z-Tech 1.0 Laminate – One of the most advanced, exotic materials in the world, Zylon is lighter, stronger, and more poppy than carbon. So when Rome lays it down the centerline of their boards, it adds a big kick of response. The 1.0 is a 1-inch wide version for a healthy dose of added response.
SinterTrue Base – Fundamental sintered performance with plenty of wax absorption

V-Rod Baseplate – Rome maintains a powerful connection between your big toe and the lateral side of your heel, while at the same time, their is lift on the other two corners and increase SubBase dampening materials. Rome does this to engineer their baseplates to deliver proper flex.
Full Highback Rotation – Put your power where you want it, not where some binding company thinks you should be forced to have it. Rome believes in highback rotation 100% -- when Rome started designing bindings 14 years ago, this was one of the must-have features. With a range of 0 to 24 degrees, every Rome binding has highback rotation so riders can align their highbacks with the heel edge. This delivers direct power on heelsides.

ConformGrip 2.0 Toe Strap – The ConformGrip 2.0 continues their legacy of designing industry-leading toe straps. With this latest iteration of their approach of creating straps that conform to any boot's toe shape, Rome maximizes their use of high-friction over-molded material to stretch and lock into place over the toe of your boot. The results is more foot control with less pressure, for maximum comfort.
Contour Boss 2.0 Ankle Strap – Temperature resistant materials in a lower-profile construction for perfect mid-range flex.
UnderWrap Heel Hoop – This is the foundational technology of the Rome binding line. From the Katana's AsymWrap to the different levels of full UnderWrap, this is technology that defines that Rome signature feeling of power toe-to-heel and flexibility side-to-side. The UnderWrap design gives added leverage over you edges, while remaining torsionally flexible for tweakability and subtle board feel.
EVA SubBase Pad – 3D EVA and rubber fill the lifted corners of the baseplate for cushioning. This creates the smoothest side-to-side flex while allowing for a dampening barrier between the baseplate and topsheet of the snowboard.
Multiple Strap Positions – Every Rome binding comes with 3 or more strap positions so you can customize the level of strap support you want.
