The Sierra and Cascade homeboys love the Moment Deathwish Skis because they rip in anything deep and wet and are stout enough to carve a decent old-school turn to impress their parents. The Deathwish has gone from being an outlier "experiment" to Moment's number 1 selling ski, and hundreds of rabid fans can't all be wrong.
Triple Camber Twin Rocker – Rocker in the tip and tail, low center camber and two sections of micro-camber just ahead and behind the binding. Combines the best of surfy versatility in pow and focused egde pressure on hardpack.
Aspen and Pine Core – Strong, light, and poppy with a great ride thanks to the damping performance of pine, Moment's aspen/pine core is the foundation of their all-mountain and powder skis.
Standard Layup – A combination of carbon fiber stringers and fiberglass sheets helps give the ski a smooth ride and long flex life. Triaxial glass adds twisting strength and longitudinal stiffness. Biaxial weaves add torsional stiffness. Unidirectional glass helps absorb vibration and stiffen the ski from tip to tail.
