Moment Bibby Pro Skis 2012: The Moment Bibby Pro Skis slaughter everything in their path just like the pro they were designed for and named after, Josh Bibby. Each pair of these bad boys is hand built and feature Mustache Rocker for the versatility needed for everything from big mountain lines to playing in the pillows. For 2012, Moment added an all-new 196 model specifically for dominating huge AK faces, or really tall people.

Shape
Mustache Rocker provides traditional camber underfoot and rocker at the tip and tail to give you stability and playfulness all at the same time.
Construction
UHMW (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) sidewalls are extremely light, durable, and resistant to separation.
4001 DuraSurf sintered bases can take a beating while staying fast. They are harder and have better wax absorption than extruded bases. Moment uses sublimated graphics to eliminate the cracking and peeling common on die-cut bases.
VDS dampening system is placed over the edges and in several other key locations to mellow any harsh vibrations.
Triaxial fiberglass, woven in a 0°/45°/-45° fashion, provides maximum strength and resistance against twisting.
Flex
Moment uses an Aspen/Pine wood core that when used together provide a strong and lively flex. Aspen keeps the ski light and poppy while pine adds strength and rigidity.

Rocker/Camber/Rocker Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as well as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
