Product Info

When you're having your daily "vision" while staring out the window of your office, it usually entails slashing smooth lines through deep powder. The Line Skis Vision 118 Skis are made for exactly that. They bring the "lightweight but fun" philosophy to a wider platform for epic powder performance both in and out of bounds. If "epic" smacks of typical ski industry hyperbole, come back after mobbing down your favorite pillow line in a foot of fresh and tell us what you think, assuming you're able to pick your jaw back up off the snow. Whether you're headed for Japow or plundering the goods in your neck of the woods, the Vision 118s are a no brainer for freeriders going light.

Product Details

Rocker Type

Early Rise™Tip and tail lift away from the snow to bring the contact points closer to the center of the ski. This increases a ski's lift in deep snow and allows it to engage more quickly on hardpack.

Rocker Profile10mm Tip / 2mm Camber / 8mm Tail

Flex

Directional Flex™The softer tip floats and initiates turns easily while the stiffer tail provides power, stability and high speed control.

Sidecut

5-Cut™Five different radiuses are blended into the ski's sidecut. The result? A wide variety of turn shapes and an intuitive feel.

Shape

Early Taper™The widest part of the sidecut begins tapering earlier in the tip and tail which reduces tail hook ups in powder.

Thin Tip™Super thin core & sidewall in the tips are 100 grams lighter per pair for reduced swing weight & tip bounce.

Core

Partly Cloudy™A blend of lightweight Paulownia and Maple creating the best strength to weight ratio of Line's offerings.

Laminates

THC™ ConstructionCombining Aramid, Carbon, and Fiberglass into a proprietary stack laminate, the elements of Line's THC vibrate and resonate at different frequencies for a hyper-dampened ski experience.

Sidewalls

Sidewall ConstructionUltra-high density Polyethylene vertical walls over the edges to absorb vibrations and provide powerful energy transmission.

Base

Sintered 1.3 mm BaseSintered bases reduce friction against the snow allowing for more speed, and more durability due to the high-density material they're crafted from.

Edges

2.1 mm x 2 mm

Graphics

Hardcap TPU

Additional Features

Recommended Stance Back from Center44.9 mm

Binding Compatibility

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
