Product Info

For the next generation of rippers, it can be tough to sit around and wait for your growth spurt to get on the skis you want. Enter the Line Skis Sir Francis Bacon Shorty Skis. Cut from the same award-winning cloth as the full-sized men's version, the SFB Shorty features a nearly symmetrical shape, fluid rocker for effortless turns, and a wider 107 mm waist. So what does that mean for younger rippers? Unparalleled float in deep pow with serious switch (aka backwards) skiing capabilities. The only thing you'll have to worry about is keeping up.

Product Details

Rocker Type

Early Rise™The rise of the tip and tail begin earlier as the ski profile moves away from center, making for easier turn initiation and helping to get the skis up on plane more quickly. This also means effortless float in softer snow.

Rocker Profile6 mm Tip / 1 mm Camber / 6 mm Tail

Flex

Soft-Medium FlexMeant to play with the mountain in all kinds of snow conditions. Will hold an edge, but is still damp enough to absorb vibrations.

Symmetric Flex™The same flex pattern in front and behind your boot conforms to terrain equally riding forward and backwards.

Sidecut

5-Cut™5 different sized sidecut radius shapes are blended into one, for intuitive control and unlimited turn shapes.

Shape

Early Taper™The widest part of the sidecut begins tapering earlier in the tip and tail which reduces tail hook ups in powder.

Nearly SymmetricalDesigned to ski equally well forwards and backwards, without sacrificing float in deep pow.

Core

Aspenlite™100% aspen for the lightest, most nimble feel.

Sidewalls

4D Fibercap™4 directions of fiberglass are woven across the top of the core for durability without unecessary weight.

Base

Extruded 1.7 mm Fatty™ Base

Edges

Fatty™ Edge2.2 x 2.5 mm edge for increased durability and tuning life.
