The K2 Strike Skis are entry-level snow sliders for the beginner or casual skier who wants a quality pair of skis for the right price. K2 uses their tried and true torsion box construction with cap sidewalls, which is a durable long-lasting design that also reduces the overall ski weight. Catch-Free Rocker also makes skiing more fun by helping you initiate and finish turns. Enjoy your ski day with the easy-to-use, lightweight Strike Skis from K2.
Catch-Free Rocker™ – This rocker profile is designed to aid developing skiers initiate smooth turns even at low speeds. A slightly elevated tip and tail allow skiers to carve at lower speeds without worrying about catching edges. This added confidence makes skiing more fun and helps skiers develop faster.
Fir / Aspen Core
Torsion Box – Torsion Box construction is the foundation for a wide range of skis designed by K2. Depending on the dimensions of the ski, and the amount of flex and torsion designed into it, one model of a Torsion Box ski can differ greatly from another. The versatility of the construction enables K2 to build everything from entry-level through expert skis with this method. Torsion Box skis share common traits of ease, forgiveness, responsiveness, and energy.
MOD Technology – A secondary core that essentially acts as a suspension system quieting the ride of the ski but does not affect the overall flex of the ski.
Cap Construction – A durable and lightweight construction that resists edge damage
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
