These skis are designed to be a tribute to the original K2 Comp skis, but with updated tech to keep you from living in the past. Originally made famous by the pioneers of freestyle riding, the K2 50th Anniversary Recoil Skis will have the next generation of riders destroying the entire mountain from groomers to park and urban features. Rocker Type
All-Terrain Rocker™ – Designed for all snow conditions, featuring an elevated tip and tail for variable and soft snow performance and camber underfoot for power, energy, and edgehold in firmer conditions
Shape
Bi-Directional Taper – The tip is still wider but closer in width to the tail. This allows the ski to perform exceptionally well while skiing in forward direction but the taper enables the skier to have similar switch arc for better and more consistent switch riding.

Triaxial Braiding – Consists of braiding fiberglass around the wood core to provide torsional rigidity for added control, which makes the ski incredibly energetic and responsive
Sidewalls
Twin Tech Sidewalls – This new twin tip specific construction process increases the durability of sidewall skis. A traditional sidewall construction produces a 90-degree angle where the top material and sidewall meet. The Twin Tech construction actually rolls the top material into the sidewall reducing the angle that is prone to abuse.
Edges
3.5 mm Edges – The 3.5 mm steel edges are thick and durable, for a longer lasting ski that is far more resistant to cracking.

Park & Pipe Park and pipe skis, often called freestyle skis, are for skiers who spend the majority of their time on jumps, rails, and jibs of all kinds. Traditionally park and pipe skis have narrower waists with full camber profiles, but this category is incorporating more rocker patterns and different shapes. You will almost always find these skis with twin tips as well as other park specific features like thicker, more durable edges, dense extruded bases, and butter zones. All-Mountain All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.

Rocker/Camber/Rocker Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as well as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
