Icelantic Scout SFT Skis – Youth 2010: The Icelantic Scout SFT ski has all the same specs as the regular Scout, but comes in a softer flex for all you groms and skiers out there under 120 lbs…for now, that is. The Scout SFT is an ultra maneuverable, extremely stable, high performance tool ideal for any skier. This go-anywhere, do-anything ski is great for fast backcountry laps, ripping through untapped tree stashes, blasting through cruddy, sun-baked snow, or just charging the resorts with friends. The Scout’s signature stiffness, aggressive sidecut, and totally unique shape come together in a fast, fun, and explosive skiing experience.

Shape
A short and fat ski that doesn’t sacrifice performance. It’s just as fast and stable as longer skis, but more maneuverable with more surface area.
Construction
ETLX 2200 Triaxle fiberglass provides phenomenal torsional rigidity. 2.2mm steel edges are thick and strong, and Durasurf 2001 P-TEX sidewalls are extremely durable and facilitate excellent energy transfer.
Flex
Nollie Core: Poplar Wood core is lightweight, durable, and poppy. The Scout SFT has a softer flex engineered to lightweight skiers (under 120lbs) and balanced by Unilateral fiberglass.
Graphics
Co-founder and friend of Icelantic, artist PARR creatively arranges elements in a way that appeals to the senses and emotions. You’ll get lost in a daydream staring at the beautiful graphics as you sit on the chairlift.
