The G3 Synapse 101 Skis offer a powerful freeride touring experience without the downside that a lot of light skis fall prey to, namely lack of edgehold and stability at speed. A versatile rocker profile with a long and gradual early rise tip, minimal 2 mm of camber, and a subtle early rise tail give you plenty of float in softer snow but keep the edge contact you need for security. The lightness comes from a feathery Poplar and Paulownia core and its clever Stealth Razor Edge Profile (the center of the ski is normal thickness, but it bevels to very thin as you move out). Super easy to ski in variable snow conditions, the Synapse 101 is a great all-round width for those transitioning to touring.
Freeride Rocker Tip + Stealth Tail – New higher curvature tip rocker improves floatation and eases trail breaking. Slight +2 mm camber underfoot, and G3’s new Stealth Tail at the rear.
