Finally, a mid-fat charger from Dynastar, just how we like it! The Dynastar Cham 117 Skis strike the perfect balance between deep snow float and all-conditions maneuverability, and replace the Cham 127 in the lineup. The Cham 117 gets a new rocker treatment with a more progressive tip and added tail rocker to make it a more versatile tool without sacrificing the famous Dynastar charger stability. Moderate classic camber underfoot lends bomber edgehold on the hard stuff, and the sharply tapered tail lets you change up your turn radius in a hurry when you're steamrolling through tight trees and suddenly find the line doesn't go. The Dynastar Cham 117 is quite possibly the most versatile big mountain tool yet devised, and still won't disappoint fans of the earlier Legend Pro series.
Long Rocker Tip – A long, progressive rocker through the forebody of the ski delivers superior floatation in deep snow and crud and enhances steering, maneuverability and control.
Classic Camber – Delivers stability, reliable edge-grip and power and enhances turning and maneuverability on groomed snow.
Flat Tail – A flat and tapered tail aids in skin attachment and planting the tail of the ski in the snow.
Progressive 5-Point Sidecut – Combines reverse sidecut in the tip and tail with traditional sidecut underfoot to deliver effortless maneuverability and smearing capability, as well as easy turning and speed control in all snow conditions.
Pin Tail – Enhances tip float and directional control while allowing easier speed control in tight spaces.
Paulownia Wood Core – The Paulownia wood core reduces the weight of the skis by 25%. Dynastar combines this wood with fibers developed by the race department to guarantee optimal skiability and performance.
Titanal and High Tech Laminates – Extra layers for added power and dampness
Full Length Vertical Sidewalls – Deliver the ultimate edge grip, power and balance
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
