Does "point it, hang on, and trust the ski to do what it's supposed to" sound like your style? If so, the Armada Victa 97 Ti Skis are some that you can trust. With their burly full Poplar wood core and twin Titanal laminates, the Victa 97 Ti runs like the proverbial freight train, but still has the quickness to snap off quick turns in the trees. This is a no-nonsense build with a very directional (read: no tail rocker to speak of) shape, so come with your "A" game.
AR Nose Rocker – A traditional sidecut is paired with tip rocker and standard camber for easier turn initiation without compromising edge hold.
Flex Pattern (1=Soft, 10=Stiff) – Tip: 6 | Waist: 6.5 | Tail: 7
Poplar Core – Stability, power and ease are paramount in this 100% Poplar wood core. For those looking for predictability and smoothness the Poplar core delivers in all snow conditions.
Carbon-Kevlar Strut – Carbon and Kevlar stringers used in the tip and tail to add pop and extend life.
Titanal – This blend of zinc aluminum acts as a shock absorber inside the ski, quieting bumps and chatter for unparalleled stability and confidence at all speeds. When a little extra weight is acceptable, Armada applies 2 full length, full width sheets of Titanal.
AR50 Sidewalls – Cap construction in the tip and tail and sidewall underfoot, balancing performance characteristics with lower swing-weight and increased durability.
Comp Series Base – Sintered UHMW polyethylene with added carbon aids in speed and durability on snow.
2.2 Impact Edge – Heat treated and built to avoid excess weight while maintaining durability, this edges gives the best balance of durability and feel of the whole Armada collection.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
