Torsion Box- A composite fiberglass that completely wraps around the core which provides a smooth progressive flex with just the right amount of torsional stiffness for better edge grip in all snow conditions.

Ultra Light Core- This core is made up of very hard to find light weight high density wood species. The wood laminate construction provides Armada with a very stable light weight core construction. This is the back-bone of Armada’s widest backcountry skis enabling them to maneuver effortlessly through deep powder conditions while providing a smooth ride.

50/50 Base- A blend of two base materials that creates better speed for Armada’s wider skis.

AR Fifty Sidewall- Armada combined the benefits of ABS Sidewall and Cap Construction exclusively for the ARG: La Gorda. The AR Fifty Sidewall is an ABS Sidewall underfoot tapering into a traditional Cap Construction throughout the rest of the ski. This creates a dampening effect, increases durability and decreases swing weight.

1.7 Edge- These edges are heat treated to Armada’s custom specifications to minimize edge breakage and maximize durability. The 1.7 edges offer weight savings.
