Wailer 112 RPC 2.0 - Powderworks Edition Skis 2017

When powder snow is your jam, you'd better make sure you've got some stout peanut butter to back it up. That's where the DPS Wailer 112 RPC 2.0 - Powderworks Edition Skis come in. Kin to the regular 112 RP2 in name only, this is a stouter, wider, and more powerful ride for point-it-and-go skiers more than the flowy-soul-surfer types who prefer the normal 112 RP. The 2017 2.0 version of the RPC one-ups the original with special damping mechanisms built into the layup to provide a super smooth and powerful ride, especially desirable when charging variable snow and uneven terrain. Note: This is a special Powderworks edition offered through DPS Dreamtime program, so you won't be seeing a lot of them on the hill -- get 'em while you can!

Rocker Type

480 mm Rocker / Camber / 384 mm Rocker

Flex

Infinite Flex LifePure3 skis employ the most advanced prepreg nano resins and space age laminates which results in ultimate performance and value. Unlike conventional skis that break down over a season, Pure3 construction maintains the same pop, power and life after years of hard use.

Sidecut

Paddle TechTapered, flatter sidecut section that blends at the contact points. Creates a smooth and intuitive sense of turn shape.

Shape

Chassis DesignIn ski design, there is a conventional hierarchy of variables that drive the end shape. From 2016 onwards, DPS has re-prioritized and reorganized these drivers so that the design now starts directly under your foot and moves outward to the tip and tail, as opposed to overlaying flex patterns on pre-drawn shapes. The result is an optimized relationship between the flex pattern and sidecut that is perfected through testing, and then mathematically translated across every new model in the lineup. The goal is to create a distinct DPS feel that can be sensed in every ski from the Cassiar 82 all the way to the Lotus 124.

Griffon Ski Bindings 2016

The Marker Griffon Ski Bindings are our top selling performance binding year after year. The reasons are obvious - excellent energy transmission, light weight compared to other bindings in its class, and solid durability have made the Griffon a fan favorite that finds its way onto more freeride skis than any other 12 to 14 DIN clamp. Marker s gliding AFD (anti-friction device) ensures consistent release with all types of ISO 5355 alpine soles and is less dependent on cleanliness or condition than stationary AFD's. The Inter Pivot Heel is time tested and offers excellent vertical elasticity as well as reliable release when you really need it. Step into the Griffon this season and find your own sweet spot.

Toe Piece

AFD Gliding PlateAll Marker bindings (except the Jester Pro) are equipped with a moveable AFD (Anti Friction Device), allowing a precise release unhindered by dirt, snow, and ice buildup. The type of AFT is matched to the skier type, ensuring perfect functionality from racing to junior and even alpine touring.

Triple Pivot Elite Toe PieceWith a horizontally oriented spring, it provides the highest energy absorption to reduce the risk of early release. The secure purchase on the boot lug optimizes power transmission and allows for durable, high energy use. The performance to weight ratio of the Triple Pivot toe is truly unmatched in the industry.

Heel Piece

Inter Pivot HeelThis industry-leading construction delivers superior holding power for all types of freeskiing. Its design focuses power in the direction of the boot sole, increasing elasticity. The overall design creates optimum power transmission.
