The Marin Cortina AX2 Complete Bike is a bike for everything from impromptu rips to all-day epics. Its lightweight aluminum frame is stiff and responsive, like the cyclocross bikes it's based on, but its carbon fork deadens vibrations on punishing dirt road chop. SRAM's excellent 1x11-speed Apex 1 group has a gear for any speed, and powerful hydraulic brakes handle the slowdown duties. If your route has a little bit of everything on it, you can't go wrong with a Cortina.
