Fabric construction uses mechanical stretch fibers instead of lycra, which can breakdown and retain water. The result is a fabric base which is inherently light and flexible, for maximum comfort and ease of movement.

To prevent leg abrasion and rashes, the boardshort has been designed for a smooth inner leg by eliminating the inseam.

The water repellent finish is actually impregnated into the fibers of the fabric. Washing and drying "recharge" the water repellent function. There is no coating to wear off. The performance benefits will last.
