The Ortovox 3+ is a "smart" 3 antenna transceiver in a slim and elegantly designed package. In a burial situation, the 3+ automatically analyzes the victim's position and switches to the best of the three antennas for transmission. Fully featured, the 3+ offers a large, circular display with digital distance and directional information, full time battery level, and multiple burial indicator. A unique, patented circle graphic shows at a glance if you are getting closer to the victim when in fine search mode. This beacon allows you to manually mark victims in a multiple burial situation once they have been located before moving on to search for others. Operates on a single 1.5 V "AA" battery.
