Head is known for their hard charging attitude straight out of the gate, and the introduction of the Head Kore 1 Alpine Touring Ski Boots is no exception. A burly 130 flex that will suit even the most demanding of skiers, combined with a relaxed 100 mm last that was comfortable for most of us at evo with no modifications, and a workman-like walk mode with 45˚ range of motion combine to create a powerful crossover boot that weighed in at around 1540 grams per boot (averaged weight in a 26.5).The fit is relaxed by 100 mm standards and will fit many wider feet well; and those with ankle and heel retention issues can snug up the fit using Head's two-part parafin Liquid Fit system.
