Shop all Scott Shop sale ScottDowncountry is a vibe! Turns out the term, which started as a satirical joke aimed at mountain biking's tendency to invent new genres, actually makes a lot of sense: XC bikes that are more fun to ride down hills. The Scott Spark 920 Complete Mountain Bike is one of the best downcountry rippers in the market, with singletrack speed and a bit more travel than a pure racer. It still benefits from Scott's intuitive TwinLoc suspension lockout system and ultra-lightweight carbon construction, so it's not podium-averse, just a whole lot more fun to ride day-to-day.
Spark 3 Carbon Frame with Aluminum Alloy Swingarm
TwinLoc 2 Suspension System – With TwinLoc, a rider can effectively control the complete frame, fork, and shock as a system. Why does this matter? A bike with 150mm of suspension travel, correctly set up, has more sag than a bike with 130mm. It's that extra travel that makes it more fun to ride and more capable on the descents, but the greater sag has an oversized effect on the bike's geometry and climbing performance. That's where TwinLoc matters. Via a handlebar remote, you can choose from three bikes in one!
Fox Nude 5T EVOL Rear Shock – Designed in conjunction with Scott, this shock has three modes that are controlled by the handlebar-mounted remote. Adjust your travel and geometry in an instant, depending on how the trail ahead looks.
Shock Adjustments – Air Spring Pressure / Open, Medium, Firm Compression Modes / Rebound
DT Swiss Thru Axle – Working together with DT Swiss, Scott completely revisited the shape of the thru-axle lever to make it more ergonomic and to perfectly fit their frames.
Integrated Rear Axle Tool – This clever tool features a T25, T30 and a 6 allen key all in one. With these three options you can adjust all pivot hardware and nearly everything else there is to adjust on the bicycle.
Patented Integrated Suspension System – This integrated shock platform allows Scott to refine suspension characteristics without adding weight. This design eliminates lateral movements as the shock goes through its compression, making for a more efficient stroke.
ICCR Cable Routing – Routing the cables internally omits bulky external hardware and looks cleaner. The cables can endure a longer lifetime as they are protected within the frame. The entry points are machined alloy removable inserts that come along with the frame and can be chosen according to the setup of the bike. Assembling an electronic group or a dropper post will not be a problem and the look will always be clean-cut.

The Float EVOL air spring and FIT Grip damper are known for their plush feel and adjustability, making this fork a perfect match for advanced riders looking for high performance.

SRAM GX Eagle – GX Eagle is your partner for all rides, all the time, all day. Long days, quick rides and everything in-between, GX Eagle is the ecosystem at its best. With the all new 520% range, all new colourways and seamless compatibility with the rest of the ecosystem, GX Eagle is there to maximize the potential of your ride experience.
Shimano SLX 4-Piston – The system adopts a power transfer system in which the disc brake rotor is pressed by the smaller sized piston at the entrance of the disc brake rotor intake and also by the more powerful larger sized piston at the back. This prevents the wobbling motion of the disc brake rotor and reduces noises significantly. The 4-piston caliper also allows a wider contact area for the disc brake rotor while keeping the size compact, and the efficient location of pads is adjusted as necessary to stabilize the pressure.
