The Devinci Troy Carbon 29 GX 12s Complete Mountain Bike is a beautiful machine that performs its duties well too. A 140/150mm bike hits so many of the targets, it's hard to imagine needing another bike on top of this one--it has modern geometry that keeps it manageable on climbs and descents, never too twitchy or too slow, making it able to adapt to most any ride. The components are very well-chosen, with solid performers across the board, from the Fox fork to the massive SRAM Code brakes: this is a bike that's ready for your local trail system and some far-flung destinations. And did we mention how beautiful it is?
Full Carbon DMC-G Frame – Lightweight, cutting-edge frame design featuring hidden pivots for integrated look and easy maintenance with simple access to all frame parts.
Trunnion-Mounted Metric Rear Shock
Room For a Bottle – All frame sizes have room for at least a standard 500ml bottle with a piggyback shock.
Coil Compatible – All Devinci full suspension bikes have a progressive leverage ratio that works well with a coil shock.
Split Pivot Suspension Design – This proven design separates acceleration forces from braking forces for a buttery smooth ride with hyperactive small bump compliance, plus increased traction and podium-crushing pedal stroke efficiency.
Threaded BB
New Slimmer Rear End – New hardware makes the rear-end 9.5mm slimmer, improving clearance without affecting performance or bearing longevity.
Geo-Adjust Flip Chip – Switch between Hi/Lo mode to customize ride characteristics. The flip chip is conveniently located at the base of the shock mount with less moving parts, meaning it's easier to use, especially if you want to conduct some on-trail experiments.
Updated Geometry – Modern trail bike geometry featuring a 15mm longer reach and 1 degree slacker head angle for confidently tackling technical sections, while steeper seat tube angle helps you motor up the climbs.
Molded Polyurethane Protector – High-density rock guard and chain stay protector enhance durability for the rugged ride ahead.
Double Row Linkage Bearings – Double-row, double-lip sealed linkage bearings for precision movement and superior longevity.
Fox 36 Performance – For MY23 the Fox 36 receives an update in the form of a new crown with updated design and engineering for more steer tube overlap improving durability and maintaining stiffness while dropping 20 grams. This makes the champ of trail forks even better. It's smoother, lighter, and stronger.
Fork Adjustments – Air Spring Pressure / Compression / Rebound
SRAM GX Eagle – GX Eagle is your partner for all rides, all the time, all day. Long days, quick rides and everything in-between, GX Eagle is the ecosystem at its best. With the all new 520% range, all new colourways and seamless compatibility with the rest of the ecosystem, GX Eagle is there to maximize the potential of your ride experience.
SRAM Centerline Rotors – The CenterLine design provides a smooth, consistent, and quiet running braking surface. Rounded edges make for easier wheel installs and are UCI-compliant.
SRAM Code R – With Code, SRAM tackled the problem of all-or-nothing, on/off braking. They built an authoritative 4-piston caliper and expanded the PiggyBack reservoir, giving Code fistfuls of power. Then, they added a range of contact adjustments and pads, allowing you to determine how and when you dispense of that power. They’re your brakes. Tune them just right.
Maxxis Minion DHR II Rear Tire – With side knobs borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF, but widened to provide more support, the DHR II corners like no other. The center tread features ramped leading edges to improve acceleration and sipes to create a smooth transition when leaning the bike. Paddle-like knobs on the center tread dig in under hard braking and help keep the bike under control. Pair it with a Minion DHF up front for the ultimate aggressive trail riding tire combo!
Maxxis Minion DHF Front Tire – With a tread design that deftly balances rolling speed with braking and cornering traction, it's hard to find fault with the Minion DHF. That's probably why it's one of the most imitated tires in mountain biking. Whether riding local trails, a backcountry epic, racing enduro or World Cup downhill, there's a Minion DHF spec to meet your needs.
Race Face AR30 Rims Laced to Factor Hubs – All-around rad AR rims are slightly tweaked with an new asymmetrical profile. Fully dialed to be stiffer, stronger and optimally balanced, these crazy-versatile rims come in every width imaginable to cover XC to plus bikes and everything in between.
