The Devinci Dixon XP Complete Mountain Bike's got a bite like the big dogs, at a fraction of the price. Go full gas on the downhill with complete confidence - Devinci's unique adjustable Full Response Geometry responds in milliseconds, and the big drops are handled with ease thanks to a generously spec'd front/rear suspension. A true all-mountain machine, with a renowned frame that's certainly no stranger to the podium of recent years, the Dixon has a slightly slacker geometry to devour descents and Dave Weagle's Split Pivot suspension to add ease to climbs. Carefully chosen quality components from SRAM, Shimano and Avid make the Devinci Dixon XP Complete Mountain Bike an impressive blend of sound value and high performance.
Aluminum Optimum G04 – Lightweight G04 tubing is born of a tech blend of 6066-T6 aluminum combined with state-of-the-art triple butting, high pressure hydro-forming, and tapered CNC-machined headtubes. Frames built from Optimum G04 tubesets offer superior durability, incredible stiffness, and a knockout strength-to-weight ratio exclusive to Devinci bikes. Devinci’s high welding- and heat-treatment quality standards, along with the knowledge gained from partnerships with the world-class industry research centres and aluminum producers, results in incredibly durable bikes. In fact, with more than 20 years on the aluminum frontlines, Devinci backs these frames with a full lifetime warranty
Full Response Geometry – FRG adjustable technology allows you to customize your ride to personal preference or specific trail type using a flip-flop pivot mechanism that changes the bike's geometry to either a low or high position. FRG bikes are quick and aggressive at lower speeds, with added stability at high speeds. Combined with a super low stand-over height, these agile, FRG bikes deliver precise handling and power transfer that reacts immediately and intuitively to rider input.
Axis Intelligent Link – Devinci Axis Technology marks the pinnacle of dual-suspension production innovation. Precision Quality Control testing results in perfect alignment—every time—that can be felt on the trail, nixing any built-in constraints stemming from the design process.
Split Pivot – Devinci Cycles was the first bike manufacturer to adopt Dave Weagle’s patented Split Pivot technology. Today it represents the core of Devinci’s full-suspension line-up. The genius of the Split Pivot suspension system is that it works in conjunction with you—the rider—for intuitive performance and a fully customizable feel. It harmonizes and maximizes bump compliance, traction, and efficiency—factors that are normally at odds with each other. The result is a buttery smooth ride with hyperactive small bump compliance and podium-crushing pedal stroke efficiency. The system is called Split Pivot because of its concentric rear dropout pivot built in line with the rear wheel axle, but there’s more to it than that.
Sag Gradients™ – Don’t set your sag correctly, and you might as well be hopping onto someone else’s bike. But why bust out plastic clips or rulers to keep your suspension fine-tuned? RockShox sag gradients are printed right on the fork’s upper tubes and shock damper bodies making perfect suspension setup easy and accurate. So give mom back her plastic clip and ruler.
Solo Air™ – Solo Air is like a Buddhist monk. Its enlightened design lets you add air to your forks through a single Schrader valve, filling both the positive and negative air spring chambers simultaneously. So they’re always in perfect equilibrium, like Yin and Yang. Giving you a plush, predictable ride you can set up in seconds, with the lightest weight air spring on the market.
External Rebound
2 Position Compression (Open/Pedal)
Air Guides™ – RockShox prints Air Guides on all of their air-sprung forks. Maybe not a technological feat, but it will help you set up your suspension in seconds instead of minutes. And more time on your bike equals more chances to earn King of the Mountain on your favorite trail. Maybe they are a technological feat.
Dig Valve – RockShox has redesigned the rebound piston to accommodate the Dig Valve, which provides the optimal level of control for both low and high speed compression, carefully controlling the oil flow to provide the rider with the right amount of support and impact absorption. The piston redesign allows the use of Rapid Recovery, a rebound tune that allows the shock to recover faster between consecutive bumps, for greater traction and a more controlled ride.
Dual Position Air™ – If you want to ride up and walk down, a fork that only does one thing is great. But you love epic ascents, technical descents, winding single track and everything in between. So you need a fork that tackles it all. Dual Position Air changes your fork's travel up to 30mm without changing its small bump performance. So, with a simple onboard turn and a click you can switch from climbing like a demon to bombing downhill with confidence.
Maxle Lite™ – Who obsesses over the weight of their wheel axles? It’s ridiculous, right? It’s just a rod of metal bolting the wheels to your bike. But then again, Maxle Lite is a nifty thru axle system that makes your bike both lighter and stiffer. And less weight makes it easier to get your bike to do what you want. Especially when you don’t need to bring tools to remove it, front or rear. And that extra stiffness gives you the precision to hit your lines no matter how burly. So maybe that obsession isn’t so ridiculous after all. Now available in 20 x 110mm and 15 x 100mm sizes.
OneLoc – The new OneLoc remote provides total control over your suspension at your fingertips. The increased leverage at the bar, translate in a smoother and easier actuation. Its countless mounting options (left and right, below or above the bar, tall or standard clamp) make it an ideal companion for SRAM's drivetrain, brakes and RockShox's Reverb remote.
Power Bulge™ – When you need your forearms to be stronger for more control, you bulk them up in the gym. When you need more durability from your fork, bulk them up with the Power Bulge. Other companies just increase the stanchion size adding extra weight. Power Bulge simply reinforces the lower leg to allow for an oversized bushing, increasing stiffness and maximizing your ride. Plus, it’s called Power Bulge.
Rapid Recovery™ – Who doesn't want more available wheel travel for successive hits? The Rapid Recovery System allows the shock to recovery faster between consecutive bumps, letting the wheel track the ground with greater precision. This more active suspension system, doesn’t pack up and enables the bike to ride in a higher and softer part of the spring rate. Rapid Recovery gives the rider access to more available wheel travel, bump after bump, to achieve a smoother and more controlled ride.

Shimano HG54 Chain – HG-X Chain uses a directional design with specifically shaped inner and outer plates to optimize shifting.
Exact Actuation™ – When SRAM launched their road technology from scratch they reapplied MTB proven SRAM 1:1 actuation ratio (shifter cable travel : derailleur movement) for 10 speed rear shifting. EA helps to simplify/stabilize the uneasy act of balancing rear derailleur hanger design, tight cog spacing and exact cable tension. The result: the easiest index shifting system to set up and it stays that way.
ZeroLoss™ – ZeroLoss simply means, well, zero loss—when you push on the lever, for an upshift or down shift, the cable is engaged instantly—zero loss of movement. There is no middle-ground where you're waiting for the shift to come. Gear changes are instant and precise.
X-Glide™ – Imagine being able to shift smoothly at any time, no matter what. We’re talking full-power shifts. Up, down, whatever the trail demands. The benefit of the X-Glide drivetrain is simple, yet, when you think about it, incredibly impactful to the way you ride. Flawless shifting means you’ll never again compromise your speed and power in unpredictable off-road terrain. No more missed shifts, ever. X-Glide puts you in THE RIGHT GEAR, right now.
Direct Route™ – Direct Route routes the cables directly to the actuation mechanism. Result? Less friction. Less effort. More oomph. Plus it's impervious to cable housing damage. Nice.
Avid Elixir 3 Hydraulic Disc Brakes – With features that matter, the Elixir 3 brings Avid’s most important technologies to the people, including the convenience of tooled reach-adjust and our revolutionary TaperBore™ Technology. MatchMaker Compatible / Split Clamp.
Avid HS1 Rotors – Utilizing cross-drilled technology, the lightweight HS series stays cooler when your run heats up, offers enhanced wet-weather performance and takes braking to a whole new level of smooth.
Deep Stroke Modulation™ – There’s a fine line between braking hard and braking so hard that you lose traction. Deep Stroke Modulation allows riders to perfectly navigate that line and control even the most powerful brakes with finesse.
DOT 5.1™ – Heat is an enemy of any brake system, so advancements in heat management, mean advancements in your ride. You see, we found that in our systems DOT 5.1 takes almost 3 times longer to boil than DOT 4, thus allowing flawless fade-free performance in even more extreme conditions.
Integrated Reservoir – With TaperBore Technology™, Avid integrated the reservoir and master cylinder on their hydraulic disc-brake levers to create a super-sleek (and even lighter) lever design.
Power Reserve Geometry – At the end of the day, a brake lever simply multiples the force your hand generates. Power Reserve Geometry™ represents a way of thinking about the physics of leverage and your hand’s comfort. Due to pivot placement, physics dictates that with other brake levers your fingers tend to slip off the ends as you pull. Avid designed their levers with the pivot closer to the handlebar. The resulting lever movement has less inward travel, an arc that’s closer to your fingers’ natural motion and delivers more force to the brake.
Reach Adjust – Brake lever fit and feel is a personal thing. Riders have individual positioning preferences, as well as unique hand sizes and finger lengths. Reach Adjust makes it easy to adjust your lever for maximum one-finger control for everyone.
TaperBore Technology™ – The term "TaperBore" refers to a unique patent-pending closure system in Elixir levers. It saves weight, looks super-sleek, improves lever feedback and most importantly gives you more power and control.
Top-Loading Pads – When the only thing between you and the trail is bike maintenance, every second matters. With top-loading pads, new disc-brake pads can be installed without taking off the wheel, working under the caliper or doing any upside-down pad juggling, so you'll be ready to ride much quicker.
Tri-Align™ Caliper Positioning System™ – Another original Avid technology making your life better—there’s never been an easier brake to install and adjust. With Avid’s Tri-Align™ Caliper Positioning System™, aligning the caliper to the rotor literally takes seconds. Just loosen the CPS™ bolts a little, and then squeeze the brake lever while re-tightening the bolts. Perfect caliper alignment—just like that.
