Mike Hornbeck

An innovator in his own right, Mike was born in the small town of Bangor, Michigan where he developed a distinctive style and exercised uncanny creativity – after all, there isn’t exactly a huge ski scene in Michigan. Without a well-established terrain park or natural big mountain features, Mike began pioneering new grounds in skiing as his creative drive lead him into more urban environments, where he ultimately paved the way for the modern urban skiing movement. With a style smoother and more captivating than the Dos Equis man himself, he is known for effortlessly flowing through parks, greasing the gnarliest handrails and floating gracefully off booters. Utilizing his positioning as a 5 year veteran on Armada’s internationally renowned Pro Team, Mr. Hornbeck continues to push the sport in new and exciting ways.
