Matthew Slaven

Matthew Slaven's come a long way from his birthplace of Lincoln, Nebraska to his current home in the Pacific Northwest and he's found his life's calling, surprisingly enough, as a professional mountain biker. Riding for Devinci, Bell and Dakine among other sponsors, Slaven's found huge success in the enduro format, with multiple national and international wins to his name in 2014. Despite a close call after being shot in a mugging in 2013, Slaven has returned to full health and lives with his wife and daughter in Portland, OR.
