Ebike Optimized – FOX’s e-MTB Optimized forks not only receive the same special damper and air spring tune as their e-MTB Tuned forks, but they also receive beefed up aluminum alloy CSUs (Crown, Steerer, and Upper tubes) assemblies in order to meet internal stiffness and strength requirements, as well meeting or exceeding EN, ISO, and ASTM testing requirements for e-MTB use cases on Class 1, and Class 3 e-bikes with increased system weight ratings.

Kashima Coated Stanchions – The smoothest of the smooth, plus it looks cooler. The gold Kashima coating has become synonymous with friction-free suspension actuation, and it's only available on Fox Factory components.

Lower Leg Channels – As a fork compresses, the air volume within the lower legs decreases, increasing air pressure. The more the fork compresses, the more pressure increases. This effect can have the unintended consequence of preventing full travel from being achieved. Fox's lower leg channels help alleviate this issue by dramatically increasing air volume within the lower legs and thereby reducing the amount of additional unintended pressure ramping. Another benefit of these channels is that lower leg bath oil is circulated to the upper reaches of the lower legs, continuously lubricating the foam rings and bushings as the fork compresses and extends through its travel.

Generative Designed Arch – The generative designed arch and lower legs maintain the 38's legendary torsional stiffness while increasing the bushing overlap by 20mm for decreased friction and increased sensitivity.

Lower Leg Bleeders – These little buttons allow for atmospheric pressure equalization for better fork performance, allowing full travel to be achieved and increasing small bump sensitivity and responsiveness.

Elliptical Steerer – Optimizing stiffness to weight, this shape places more material where it's needed, and eliminates every ounce of it where it's not.
