The 9 Best Snowboard Bibs of 2023-2024

By: Kevin Katsafanas: Men's Techwear Buyer | October 4, 2023

Men's snowboard bibs have always been a staple for those seeking superior protection and style while navigating the snowy terrains. These high-cut wonders offer unparalleled coverage, ensuring that snow stays out even during the deepest powder dives or unexpected tumbles. As riders delve into the intricacies of selecting their gear, choosing the right pants or bibs becomes crucial. The design of snowboard bibs emphasizes both functionality and fashion, providing ample storage with strategically placed pockets and a fit that's both comfortable and flattering. For those looking to explore a diverse range, snowboard bibs offer a plethora of options that cater to different preferences and needs. Their enduring appeal is a testament to their perfect blend of practicality and aesthetics, setting the stage for another year of bib dominance on the slopes.

New This Year:

As 2024 unfolds, the enduring trend of men's snowboard bibs remains evident, with their popularity continuing to resonate among riders. While the top styles remain largely consistent with previous years, reflecting a preference for tried-and-true designs, there's a noteworthy emphasis on sustainability. This year, the industry is witnessing a commendable shift towards incorporating more recycled fabrics into the construction of bibs, echoing a broader movement towards eco-friendly gear. Even though major design overhauls might be sparse, this sustainable initiative demonstrates a commitment to blending performance with environmental responsibility. Riders can now embrace both the functional benefits of snowboard bibs and the satisfaction of supporting environmentally-conscious choices on the slopes.

Kevin Katsafanas

Growing up in the northwest I took to snowboarding when I was 13 and spent most weekends up at Snoqualmie riding the park. As I grew as a rider I traded out rails and jumps for more freeride terrain found on the other side of I-90 over at Alpental. With evo in my backyard, I spent countless weekends hounding the shop staff about gear. Finally, when I was 19 years old I found my way into a full-time position selling snowboards at the Seattle store. In the decade since I've worn a number of hats in the outdoor industry in addition to talking gear, including spending time as the Seattle store's marketing and events coordinator. 9 years later and I am still here at evo in my role as the Buyer for men's techwear, and ski/snowboard bags.
