Therefore Volkl has equipped their really light ski models, which are very popular among beginners, with Double Grip LT. With its ultraÖlight construction, the ski has so much height over the edges that the higher pressure can clearly be felt Ö and the ski is neither too easily influenced nor too aggressive.

The Volkl Tiger Ski has a composite core to reduce overall weight. The motion systems work by allowing easier, more round ski flex. With rails or an internal interface integrated in its construction, the ski allows a Marker binding interface to glide, held in place by a high-carbon steel pin. Easier flex means even, balanced edge pressure to the snow surface. The result is better control through precise distribution over the length of the edge, and better performance.
