The Salomon XW Fury Skis feature an 85mm waist width for more float in the powder while still maintaining all-mountain versatility and feel.
Construction
Salomon’s 3D Stealth Tip gives the tip of the skis a lower shaped shovel with its flat contact angle toward the snow to allow the ski to roll over terrain variations and reduce high-speed vibrations.
The Double TI Laminate gives the Salomon XW Fury Skis a double layer of titanium in order to give on-piste performance, more precision, enormous edge grip and a responsive skiing experience.

Core and Flex Pattern
Full wood core from tip to tail offers optimum stability on snow and powerful rebound maximizes ski/snow contact and filters vibrations. The Salomon XW Fury Skis also feature wider edges for increased durability and imported shock resistance without sacrificing flex.
Salomon’s Pulse Pad offers an elastomer layer along the front of the ski and edge for better shock absorption and anti-vibration for smoother and softer ski/snow contact.

These skis have narrower waists and shorter turn radii for edge to edge quickness and responsive turn initiation and exit on groomed runs and hard pack. The beginner-intermediate skis in this category are designed to make learning how to turn as easy as going from pizza to French fries. All-Mountain All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.
