Testimonials
I recently completed the Level 1 Avalanche and Rescue course with ULLR Backcountry and can't recommend it highly enough. Brad and Kate created an exceptional learning experience that perfectly balanced classroom instruction with hands-on field training.

Brad‘s skills and experience as a teacher, facilitator, leader, adventurer are very strong. He clearly loves what he does and loves to share that with others. He adapts well to the needs of a group, the dynamics of weather and learning opportunities around the corner.

Brad and Katy were well spoken and really knowledgeable about everything BC. The course was challenging and yet really easy to absorb. My BC knowledge went from zero to 60 in 3 days. Definitely recommending them to a level 1 or 2 avalanche program.
