If you're ebike curious but don't love the idea of getting a 50lb behemoth on your bike rack, the Specialized S-Works Turbo Levo SL 2 Di2 E-Mountain Bike might be for you. It's a lightweight eeb with heavyweight capability, thanks to a SL 1.2 drive unit that delivers 50Nm of torque at full blast, powered by a 320WhWh battery. It all adds up to a lean, responsive build that delivers plenty of power on the up, a nimble feel on the down, and all without unecessary weight. With 160 / 150mm suspension, versatile trail geometry, and a premium S-Works build kit featuring the latest Shimano XTR Di2 wireless drivetrain, this bike stands out from the competition.
Levo SL Carbon Frame – A strategic carbon fiber layup provides super-responsive chassis stiffness. Specialized tuned the entire chassis—front end, rear end, and the link that unifies them—as a single unit to minimize lateral flex under pedaling to harness every bit of pedal force.
Travel – 160mm Front / 150mm Rear
Wheel Size – Mixed Wheel (29" Front / 27.5" Rear)
Specialized SL 1.2 Motor – The all new Specialized SL 1.2 motor is whisper quiet, boasts unmatched smoothness, delivers 43% more torque (50Nm), and 33% more power (320 Watts) than its predecessor. Resulting in “2x You” performance; it’s you pedaling, but a side of you only a Levo can bring out.
Specialized SL 320Wh Battery
Mixed Wheel Design – A dedicated mixed-wheel size design with a 27.5” wheel in the back and 29” up front delivers a nimble ride that carves circles around other full-power e-MTBs. A generous cockpit centers you on the bike, optimizing traction and corner control. The low bottom bracket, slack headtube angle and reduced fork offset keep things stable in the rough.
The XTR Di2 shifter feels instantly natural out of the box, but can also be molded to fit any hand, thanks to its familiar fit and evolved adjustability design. Multiple shift modes, like hold-down multi-shift, tactile click-through double shift, or locked-out single shift, deliver precision, while a tunable third button allows for additional system tuning or third-party connection.
The all-new XTR M9250 long-cage derailleur paired with a standard 10-51T M9200 cassette gives riders and racers the speed, range, and robustness to tackle every trail on the mountain. With built-in Automatic Impact Recovery, an impact-deflecting shape, and simple covered-pulley solutions, this derailleur stands up to harsh trail impacts and still retains its lightning-quick shifting speed and top-level performance.
High consistency and control make the BR-M9220 the strongest caliper in the M9200 family. New low viscosity oil keep the M9220 brakes’ bite point consistent in all trail and weather conditions, and new brake pads eliminate rattling noise caused by vibration. Increased power and consistency coupled with the peace of silence give riders pin-point control on rough trails.
