Lake Chelan-Sawtooth Wilderness

Lake Chelan-Sawtooth Wilderness runs through the spectacular Sawtooth Range and borders North Cascades National Park. The terrain here includes high alpine lakes, deep ravines, and a diverse mixture of dense forest, meadows, alpine slopes, geology, and high country. This Wilderness zone includes 194 miles of trails, many of which include steady climbs into high basins and glacial cirques with lakes. Its southern region features more open, rolling high country that falls off steeply into the Lake Chelan valley.
