People often asked why I started evo and when it started, and I’ve always held that the path of our business is intertwined with our personal journeys. Since my Uncle Jack first introduced me to skiing almost 30 years ago, I've done everything I could to pursue these passions. From hustling gear to buy a lift ticket, to eventually getting the chance to chase winters, ride and surf worldwide, evo has opened doors to a world of sport and culture that I could have never imagined. As we move ahead, the desire to share these same experiences drives our site, our stores and most of all, our evoTrip adventure travel vacations – our opportunity to introduce customers to these amazing sports and cultural experiences around the world. We're proud to introduce a new partnership with LOGE Camps (pronounced "Lodge") as they offer unique lodging experiences and a community gathering place in great outdoor recreation hubs. We started working with LOGE since their 2017 Westport, WA opening, and as they've added new locations, we've partnered with them to offer demo centers, retail, service, evoTrips and more alongside their events, lodging and local expertise.

The people at LOGE are a lot like you - surfers, climbers, bikers, skiers, creatives, builders. They love to travel, love the outdoors and believe community plays a huge role in both our lives and our adventures. We share with them a common bond of travel to experience, discover, adventure, explore the unknown, find belonging, embrace discomfort, join a tribe, be a part of something bigger than ourselves, to live, to find our place. LOGE's goal is to create unique lodging experiences in the center of great outdoor recreation hubs that give you a place to connect with others, try out new gear, and see new places. 

LOGE locations bring all of this together through the following: 

  • Unique lodging options - hostels, hotel rooms, RV and rustic campsites
  • Connection to the outdoors - access to world-class surfing, mountain biking, skiing and snowboarding
  • Community gatherings - Communal firepits, Friday outdoor movie nights all summer long, Saturday concert series all summer long
  • Localized giving - supporting Surfrider Foundation (Westport), Central Bend Trail Alliance (Bend), Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance (Snoqualmie Pass), and the Northwest Avalanche Center (Leavenworth). 
  • Easy access to gear - evo performance demo centers in each location, offering mountain bike, surf, and backcountry gear, as well as evo retail shop coming this summer to LOGE Entrada

We believe all young people deserve the opportunity to discover their passions and achieve their full potential. We invest in programs and partnerships that help kids build positive skills and mindsets in the communities where we live, work and play. 

HOW WE GIVE:

Each year we select a handful of organizations that are reducing barriers for young people to achieve their potential and make an investment of our dollars, time and connections to make a deeper impact. Organizations are invited to submit proposals and a committee of evo employees selects three to four organizations to whom we will make a meaningful donation, commit to company-wide service opportunities, host an event and tell a great story. We are proud to partner with the following organizations this year, both for in-cart and in-store donation and wider programs:
