Code Red never seems to be a good thing in the movies, but when it comes to wakeboards, Code 22 gives you access to all the best features that Ronix has to offer. New to 2015, the Ronix Code 22 Intelligent Wakeboard has an altered rail, inspired by the surf for soft, smoother arcing turns. The core is made from a mixture of foam, maple, glass, carbon fiber and Paulownia wood, which makes this board extremely durable and responsive, and Ronix s thinner profile with M6 hardware has a shorter insert without sacrificing boot lock down.
Late Rocker An exaggerated rocker line with a later arc and higher degree provide a more straight up explosive pop. This style of rocker creates more of an instant explosive buck off the wake for riders that go behind a big boat wake, but also gives a solid kick to those behind smaller wakes.
Thinner Profile Creates more overall energy and added rebound off the wake and softer landings.
Surf Round Rail New for 2015, a full, soft surf-inspired design for smoother arcing turns. A soft bevel through the center creates a floaty feel and prevents that all-too-familiar edge-catching digger. The rail blends to a sharper bevel and rail in the tip/tail creating additional contact with the water.
Fused Foam By bonding Mod Pour foam on the rails with Italian-crafted Aircore foam down the center of the board, Ronix creates the most responsive board yet, ready to snap back as soon as it touches the wake.
Arced Wood Arced parabolic Paulownia wood helps transfer energy to the rail of the board for the rider that wants the most feedback both on the water and when leaving it.
Monocoque A wrapped glass from the bottom to the top so the flash line is no longer the weak point of the board - but is now the strongest. A more durable construction and a torsionally stiffer ride.
Magic Carpet Ronix's secret formula of fiberglass materials woven together to allow just enough resin to bleed through and adhere to the core.
Interwoven Glass / Carbon A revolutionary new blend and the first time that carbon is actually woven together with the glass - the result is the fibers working in unison and not independently. More feedback with the water from a stiffer lay up.
Maple Stringer The spinal cord of a board running down the middle of a core. It allows the use of lighter and softer materials with more feedback, and less swing weight without boards collapsing like a traditional flex board.
Sintered Base The most durable non-stick base material Ronix has ever tested on rails without loosing any glide speed on the water.
4 Fiberglass 1.0" Fins
4 Fiberglass 0.8" Utility Fins
M6 Inserts A higher thread count means more hold at a shallower depth. So now Ronix can go to thinner profiled boards with a shorter insert without sacrificing boot lock down. The result is boards with more feel and contact on the water.
