Spawned from the same DNA as the powder proven Pescado, the all-new Line Skis Sakana Skis bring the same directional, swallowtail creativity to a much more versatile 105mm waist width. Designed by the creative mind of Eric Pollard, the Sakana's wide forebody, directional flex and knocked out tail combine to create a ski that encourages a wide variety of turn shapes. Rediscover the euphoria of laying into carves—both on-and-off piste—with the playful, pioneering Line Sakana Skis. The revolution is here, don't get left behind.
Early Rise™ – Tip and tail lift away from the snow to bring the contact points closer to the center of the ski. This increases a ski's lift in deep snow and allows it to engage more quickly on hardpack.
Rocker Profile – 10mm Tip / 4mm Camber / 0mm Tail
Directional Flex – The softer tip floats and initiates turns easily while the stiffer tail provides power, stability and high speed control.
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 8 Stiff) – 2.5
Early Taper™ – The widest part of the sidecut begins tapering earlier in the tip and tail which reduces tail hook ups in powder.
Thin Tip™ – Super thin core & sidewall in the tips are 100 grams lighter per pair for reduced swing weight & tip bounce.
Unique Swallowtail Shape – Featuring a styled tail knockout, the Sakana is a resolute paradigm shift ski design. At 105mm underfoot, the Sakana can exhibit a variety of turn shapes.
Partly Cloudy™ – A blend of lightweight Paulownia and Maple creating the best strength to weight ratio of Line's offerings.
Carbon Flax Weave
Titanal Tail Reinforcement
Sidewall Construction – Ultra-high density polyethylene vertical walls over the edges absorb vibrations and provide powerful energy transmission.
Sintered 1.3mm Base
2.1 x 2mm Edges

The hype is real. Say 'sayonara' to waxing and 'hello' to the truly revolutionary DPS Phantom 2.0 Base Glide Treatment! How? Developed in conjunction with the chemistry wizards at the University of Utah, Phantom offers ultimate convenience, elite-level performance, and it's environmentally friendly. In other words, you'll never have to wax again, you get performance that's on-par if not better than traditional waxing and you omit the need to use and expose yourself to toxic chemicals. A mere one-time application is all that's required! Transform your base(s) and experience the future of snowsports with the game-changing DPS Phantom 2.0 Base Treatment
Permanence – Permanence breeds ultimate convenience. With PHANTOM, you apply the formula once at any point in your ski or snowboard’s life cycle, whether new or used. It’s that simple. PHANTOM’s sophisticated, timed polymerization process permanently penetrates the entire thickness of the base material with powerful go-fast fluoro compositions designed to operate across all snow temperatures. Even when the ski or snowboard goes into a shop for stone grindings, the next fresh layer of PHANTOM is exposed –– ready to glide.
Performance – Unless you are constantly waxing with correct temperature specific waxes, PHANTOM is faster across all conditions over time because its performance is consistent: you never suffer the glide degradation that occurs when conventional wax quickly wears away.
Environment – The innovation centers around the inclusion of glide-friendly fluorocarbon functional groups, but in a superior, new delivery method that renders them inert and harmless to humans, plants and animals. PHANTOM doesn’t cause biological damage, and doesn’t present any long-term environmental risks.
Home Application – PHANTOM can be applied by an individual with access to direct and consistent UV sunlight to activate and cure the formula. Ideally, this should be done during the Spring, Summer, and Autumn seasons when the sun is high and temperatures are. For proper PHANTOM application, it’s critical for there be strong, direct sunlight and temperatures over 32ºF / 0ºC. Cure time is roughly 2 hours total, with another 20 minutes of prep work and brushing to complete the application. DPS also recommends base cleaner or a fresh stone grind prior to application.
Cure Station – PHANTOM can be applied professionally by an Authorized PHANTOM Installer using a Cure Station. The process takes approximately 15 minutes for part A, and 15 minutes for part B, with minor additional preparation and soak time. This is the most precise and fast method to apply PHANTOM to skis or snowboards, and is a reliable all-season solution during the low light winter months, especially in more extreme latitudes, and in wetter climates where sunshine isn’t as consistent.
