The Faction Candide 2.0 Skis are a no-holds-barred, all conditions freeride ski for shorter folks. Face it, a 96 mm waist in a 145 cm ski is a full on powder board for a kid, and do we ever wish we had these when we were that age. This is a real ski, with a Poplar-Beech core and the same quality of materials Faction uses in their adult models, but with no camber for slightly easier turn initiation. If your grom is showing some "Henry Sildaru" potential, get him (or her) a pair of these and watch the sparks fly.
Rocker / Flat / Rocker – 400mm rocker in the tips. Flat (0mm camber) underfoot for maneuverability, quick pivots and slashes. 380mm rocker in the tails.
Flex: 7 / 10 – (1 = Soft, 10 = Stiff)
Directional Twin – A considerably skinnier tail width than in the tip provides ultimate downhill performance for attacking the mountain. A twin tip in the tail encourages playfulness and freestyle attitude, meaning you can ride switch without problem.
Surf Zones – Unites rocker and tip taper ensuring these two key features work in harmony. Rocker provides float and facilitates pivoting, while a tapered tip moves the widest part of the ski closer to the center and removes unwanted hooking. Surf Zones promise a floaty, seamless ride in all conditions.
Poplar Beech Wood Core
Full Strength Sidewall Construction with Microcap – Sandwich sidewall construction for power and edgehold, with a topsheet that wraps around and meets the sidewall for durability.
Die-Cut P-Tex 3000
Anti-Scratch Textured Topsheet
Misprinted Topsheet – The topsheet on the Candide 2.0 Boys' Skis is incorrectly printed. The Candide mounting point is actually the All-Mountain point.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
