Blizzard Zero G 108 Skis 2019

A consensus favorite among experienced ski tourists who insist on savoring the thrill of exacting downhill performance, the Blizzard Zero G 108 Skis offer "real ski" power and stability in a package that's light enough for serious touring. Ask around about a ski that's light enough to tour on but strong and confident enough to be a daily driver and the Zero G 108 comes up time and again. A perfect choice for a travel ski with a freeride tech binding, or as a component of a winter touring setup.

Rocker Type

Rocker Camber RockerSki profile with rocker at the tip and tail, camber in the middle. Reducing the pressure on the edge at the tip and tail makes the ski even easier to handle and increases flotation on powder snow. The camber guarantees great grip on packed snow.

Core

Carbon Flipcore TechnologyA revolutionary rockered ski production process that incorporates a uni-directional carbon frame onto the core of the ski that results in great performance with a light and easy feel.

Ultralight Paulownia Core

Laminates

Carbon Drive TechonologyBlizzard integrates a 3D unidirectional carbon fiber frame over a Paulownia wood core with sidewalls underfoot. The 3D geometry of the carbon frame provides optimal flex and torsional rigidity, and a level of downhill performance that is unprecedented in an alpine touring ski.

Top & Bottom Light Directional Fiberglass Layers

Titanal Binding Interface

Sidewalls

Sandwich Compound SidewallAll Blizzard skis with the exception of some junior skis are built with ABS or Phenol sidewalls for superior performance (stability, power transmission, handling) and durability.

Base

Sintered Graphite Base

Binding Compatibility

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Marker Jester 16 ID Ski Bindings 2020

The Marker Jester 16 ID Ski Bindings have defined freeride skiing for years, and if you're the type of skier who need this sort of retention and reliability they should be on your radar. A new Triple Pivot Elite 2 toe and Inter-Pivot 2 heel are totally dialed for the type of skier who needs to put absolute trust in their boot/ski connection and only wants to release when the consequences are dire. The stainless steel height adjustable AFD lets you use both your alpine and touring boots on the same pair of skis.

Product Details

Toe Piece

Triple Pivot Elite 2 ToeThis toe construction allows for impressive retention when freeriding. The spring in the toe is inserted horizontally and with a sole plate inclined by 5° it provides the highest energy absorption so as to reduce the risk of early release. The large supporting surface optimizes power transmission and allows for great stresses and strains. In relation to their weight, toes with this technology therefore achieve a never-seen-before performance.

AFD Gliding PlateAll Marker bindings (except the Jester Pro) are equipped with a moveable AFD (Anti Friction Device), allowing a precise release unhindered by dirt, snow, and ice buildup. The type of AFD is matched to the skier type, ensuring perfect functionality from racing to junior and even alpine touring.

Sole.IDMarker Sole.ID allows Marker Authorized Retailers to adjust Sole ID equipped bindings to every type of adult ski boot sole, from ISO 5355 Alpine to ISO 9523 Touring, with a height adjustable gliding plate (AFD).

Heel Piece

Inter-Pivot 2 HeelThe stunning heel construction delivers superior holding power for freeriding. The Inter Pivot Heel directs the power forces in the angle of elasticity improving the holding power and reducing pre-releases.
