Atomic Redster X5 + Mercury 11 Bindings 2018
The Redster X5 may be Atomic's entry level Redster ski setup, but it's by no means a pushover. Equipped with upper-echelon features like a Power woodcore, a Titanal stabilizer for rock-solid performance at speed, and full sidewalls for direct power transmissions to your edges, the Redster X5 features the power and stability you crave out of a pure hard pack ski, but adds a touch of forgiveness thanks to minimal tip rocker and dampening foam core inserts.

Race Rocker (5 / 95 / 0) – The ideal rocker shape for hard pack slopes. Its strong camber provides precise edge grip while the very slight early rise in the tip means easier turn initiation and no unwanted edge-catching for safety at high speeds.

Power Woodcore – A sporty, dynamic ash and poplar woodcore that adds a ton of stability and dampens vibrations at speed.
Densolite Foam Core – A foam core that's agile and dampens vibrations for effortless skiing.

Rocker/Camber Rocker/Camber skis pair a traditional cambered profile underfoot with an elongated, early rise tip borrowed from fully rockered skis. This profile places the front contact point further back from the tip, while the rear contact point remains close to the tail. The rockered tip allows for better flotation and less edge catch for increased float in deep snow, while the cambered rear stores and transmits energy similarly to a fully cambered ski.
