Shop all Scott Shop sale ScottThe Scott Spark 930 Complete Mountain Bike is the XC bike world champs ride when they head out on the trails. It's light as a feather, grips like mad, and with Scott's TwinLoc remote lockout system, it goes back and forth between fast and super fast. With reasonable components the guys in the shop would recommend, this is a carbon ripper with an aluminum price tag.
Evo-Lap Carbon Technology – Thanks to this extensive computer modeling, Scott optimized the carbon layers in all the parts of the frame. When the parts were bonded together in the first prototypes, the result was a super light and compact frame without sacrificing the stiffness, comfort or impact resistance. This allows them to make the most efficient layup possible.
TwinLoc Suspension System – With TwinLoc, a rider can effectively control the complete frame, fork, and shock as a system. Why does this matter? A bike with 150mm of suspension travel, correctly set up, has more sag than a bike with 130mm. It's that extra travel that makes it more fun to ride and more capable on the descents, but the greater sag has an oversized effect on the bike's geometry and climbing performance. That's where TwinLoc matters. Via a handlebar remote, you can choose from three bikes in one!
Fox Nude EVOL Rear Shock – Designed in conjunction with Scott, this shock has three modes that are controlled by the handlebar-mounted remote. Adjust your travel and geometry in an instant, depending on how the trail ahead looks.
Shock Adjustments – Air Spring Pressure, Lockout, Traction and Descend Modes (Linear to Progressive Custom Ramp Adjust in Descend Mode), Rebound Adjust
ICCR Cable Routing – Routing the cables internally omits bulky external hardware and looks cleaner. The cables can endure a longer lifetime as they are protected within the frame. The entry points are machined alloy removable inserts that come along with the frame and can be chosen according to the setup of the bike. Assembling an electronic group or a dropper post will not be a problem and the look will always be clean-cut.
SW Dropouts – These dropouts are designed to be integrated on the thru-axle system thanks to a hollow tubular design that allows a simple and lightweight structure. Available for SRAM and Shimano DM derailleurs, this dropout increases the stiffness and avoids damage to the frame in case of impacts on the rear derailleur.
Spark 3 Carbon Frame with Aluminum Alloy Swingarm
Fox 34 Float Rhythm – A lightweight fork made for XC riding and racing, the Float air spring and GRIP damper inside keep this one at the front of the pack. With three ride modes controlled by the ingenious TwinLoc remote on the bars, you can toggle back and forth between full travel and locked out--front and rear.
Fork Adjustments – Air Spring Pressure / Open, Medium, Firm Modes / Low Speed Rebound
Shimano XT / SLX 12 Speed – A solid mix of dependable Shimano components keeps you chugging along. With a wide gear range, you'll find one of the 12 speeds perfect for your terrain.
Shimano Deore Disc Brakes – Controllable stopping power, all in a lightweight 2-piston trail brake. These feature Shimano's famous reliability and ease of setup.
