Aluminum Optimum G04 – Devinci’s mountain bike program is a product of its unparalleled R&D experience. Top-of-the line tube technology is adapted to Devinci’s high-end mountain bikes—all offering the ultimate in acceleration, power transfer, control, and stability. Lightweight G04 tubing is born of a tech blend of 6066-T6 aluminum combined with state-of-the-art triple butting, high pressure hydro-forming, and tapered CNC-machined headtubes. Frames built from Optimum G04 tubesets offer superior durability, incredible stiffness, and a knockout strength-to-weight ratio exclusive to Devinci bikes. Devinci’s high welding- and heat-treatment quality standards, along with the knowledge gained from partnerships with the world-class industry research centres and aluminum producers, results in incredibly durable bikes. In fact, with more than 20 years on the aluminum frontlines, Devinci backs these frames with a full lifetime warranty.
Full Response Geometry – FRG adjustable technology allows you to customize your ride to personal preference or specific trail type using a flip-flop pivot mechanism that changes the bike's geometry to either a low or high position. FRG bikes are quick and aggressive at lower speeds, with added stability at high speeds. Combined with a super low stand-over height, these agile, FRG bikes deliver precise handling and power transfer that reacts immediately and intuitively to rider input.
Axis Intelligent Link – Devinci Axis Technology marks the pinnacle of dual-suspension production innovation. Precision Quality Control testing results in perfect alignment—every time—that can be felt on the trail, nixing any built-in constraints stemming from the design process.
Split Pivot – Devinci Cycles was the first bike manufacturer to adopt Dave Weagle’s patented Split Pivot technology. Today it represents the core of Devinci’s full-suspension line-up. The genius of the Split Pivot suspension system is that it works in conjunction with you—the rider—for intuitive performance and a fully customizable feel. It harmonizes and maximizes bump compliance, traction, and efficiency—factors that are normally at odds with each other. The result is a buttery smooth ride with hyperactive small bump compliance and podium-crushing pedal stroke efficiency. The system is called Split Pivot because of its concentric rear dropout pivot built in line with the rear wheel axle, but there’s more to it than that.
Rebound – Rebound controls the rate at which your shock returns after it has been compressed. The proper rebound setting is a personal preference, and changes with rider weight, riding style and conditions. A rule of thumb is that rebound should be as fast as possible without kicking back and pushing the rider off the saddle. The rebound control has 12-15 clicks of adjustment. For slower rebound, turn the red adjuster control clockwise. For faster rebound, turn the red adjuster control counter-clockwise
Boost Valve – Fox's patented Boost Valve technology has a lot going in its tight little package. Simply put, Boost Valve provides a feeling of endless travel and plushness like that of a downhill rig, but with XC pedaling efficiency.
Air Spring Pressure
15QR – Don't sacrifice performance by going with a pinner skewer. Fox teamed up with Shimano to create an axle that is extremely light and stiff, in a tool-free design. You'll gain a ton of confidence when you're deep in the rocks, roots, and ruts.
Rebound – The rebound adjuster knob is located at the bottom of the right fork leg, as shown in the figure. Rebound controls the rate of speed at which the fork extends after compressing. Turning the knob clockwise slows down rebound; turning the knob counter-clockwise speeds up rebound. As a starting point, turn the rebound adjuster knob all the way clockwise (full in) until it stops, then turn counter-clockwise (out) 12 clicks. If you adjust your rebound too slow, your fork will pack down and ride harsh. If you adjust your rebound too fast, you will experience poor traction and wheel pop.
FIT (Fox Isolated Technology) – Air and oil do mix, and in the world of suspension, it degrades performance. Fox's isolation technology employs a bladder system that simply keeps the oil and air from mixing to provide optimal performance in all riding extremes.

Exact Actuation™ – When SRAM launched their road technology from scratch they reapplied MTB proven SRAM 1:1 actuation ratio (shifter cable travel : derailleur movement) for 10 speed rear shifting. EA helps to simplify/stabilize the uneasy act of balancing rear derailleur hanger design, tight cog spacing and exact cable tension. The result: the easiest index shifting system to set up and it stays that way.
ZeroLoss™ – ZeroLoss simply means, well, zero loss—when you push on the lever, for an upshift or down shift, the cable is engaged instantly—zero loss of movement. There is no middle-ground where you're waiting for the shift to come. Gear changes are instant and precise.
Direct Route™ – Direct Route Technology means the cable routes directly to the actuation mechanism. Result? Less friction. Less effort. More oomph. Plus it's impervious to cable housing damage. Nice.
X-Glide™ – Imagine being able to shift smoothly at any time, no matter what. We’re talking full-power shifts. Up, down, whatever the trail demands. The benefit of the X-Glide drivetrain is simple, yet, when you think about it, incredibly impactful to the way you ride. Flawless shifting means you’ll never again compromise your speed and power in unpredictable off-road terrain. No more missed shifts, ever. X-Glide puts you in THE RIGHT GEAR, right now.
OCT™ (Open Core Technology) – To fabricate Open Core Technology a single mass of premium alloy is pushed, pulled and squeezed into a hollow crank arm. This produces supreme strength while remaining weight-conscious. Hollow crank arms yield the highest stiffness-to-weight ratio out there. OCT cranks are stiffer, stronger, and lightweight beyond any solid forged crankset.
Avid Elixir 7 Brakes – Don’t be fooled by its svelte 355-gram profile. With a new 4-piston dual-diameter caliper, the Elixir 7 Trail packs a powerful punch. Whether you’re bombing rowdy descents or flowing through technical rock gardens, this is a brake that helps you do what you do: Ride farther, and ride faster.
Deep Stroke Modulation™ – There’s a fine line between braking hard and braking so hard that you lose traction. Deep Stroke Modulation allows riders to perfectly navigate that line and control even the most powerful brakes with finesse.
DOT 5.1™ – Heat is an enemy of any brake system, so advancements in heat management, mean advancements in your ride. DOT 5.1 takes almost 3 times longer to boil than DOT 4, thus allowing flawless fade-free performance in even more extreme conditions.
Intergrated Reservoir – With TaperBore Technology™ the reservoir and master cylinder on Elixir hydraulic disc-brake levers are integrated to create a super-sleek (and even lighter) lever design.
Power Reserve Geometry – At the end of the day, a brake lever simply multiples the force your hand generates. Power Reserve Geometry™ represents a way of thinking about the physics of leverage and your hand’s comfort. Due to pivot placement, physics dictates that with other brake levers your fingers tend to slip off the ends as you pull. Avid designed their levers with the pivot closer to the handlebar. The resulting lever movement has less inward travel, an arc that’s closer to your fingers’ natural motion and delivers more force to the brake.
TaperBore Technology™ – The term “TaperBore” refers to a unique patent-pending closure system in Elixir levers. It saves weight, looks super-sleek, improves lever feedback and most importantly–gives you more power and control.
Top-Loading Pads – When the only thing between you and the trail is bike maintenance, every second matters. With top-loading pads, new disc-brake pads can be installed without taking off the wheel, working under the caliper or doing any upside-down pad juggling, so you’ll be ready to ride much quicker.
Mavic EN321 Rims – 28mm wide, eyeleted and solidly pin joined, EN 321 Disc is the perfect rim to withstand the rigor of light freeriding. Weighs 570g.
