Every year we make our pilgrimage. From the low places fit for human habitation, we venture forth to isolated peaks crowned only by jagged rock and gusting snow. Ask each nomad what fuels their journey and you'll get different answers: adrenaline, excitement, comradery, fun. But in one way or another, we're all up there seeking solace. And when we drop down below the peaks, into the bounty that cold winter has whipped up for us, we find a place at the apex of each turn that is free from thought, resistant to distraction, and utterly complete within itself. In pursuit of this voyage to chase the special serenity than can only be found at high speeds and in deep powder, we give you the Ride Peace Seeker Snowboard.

Tapered Bi-Radial Sidecut – A twin sidecut which allows for the underfoot width of a wide board in the tip/tail width of a standard size. This design provides improved leverage on landings, grip through turns, and stability on flat base.

Performance™ Core – High strength Aspen is combined with Bamboo and lightweight Paulownia wood to provide the perfect balance of strong and light.
Laminates
Double Impact Plates – Added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most. Offered in two levels, Single and Double.
Carbon Array 5™ – This power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location. Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and all pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control. Offered in two levels of technology, 3 & 5.
Glass Pedal – A diamond shaped secondary layer of glass in the tail of the board that provides extra torsional stiffness and power in the tail without effecting the flex of the tip.
Hybrid Glass – Triaxial on top, biaxial on base; balanced torsional flex and stiffness for better response with speed.

Carbon Slim Walls® – A 3D composite structure positioned over Carbon-backed Slimewall® material reduces weight, dampens the ride, and results in superior energy transfer.

Freeride Freeride snowboards are designed for the rider that spends most of the day off groomed runs and in backcountry terrain. They typically have a stiffer flex and are ridden in longer sizes than freestyle snowboards. Freeride snowboards often feature a directional shape that is designed to perform optimally in one direction. Powder Powder snowboards love powder. Often associated with freeride snowboards, powder boards sometimes feature a wider nose and a tapered narrower tail. The binding inserts, which determine the rider's stance, are often set back on a powder snowboard to help the rider float the tip of the board through the deep stuff. Powder snowboards sometimes also feature rocker, a design element where the tip (and tail) rise starts farther back on the board, which also helps the rider maintain tip float through the pow.

Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
