Engineered in Japan in collaboration with Terje Haakonsen, the Flux XV MF-07 Snowboard Bindings are a no-compromise binding for expert riders, with a Boost FootOn TH footbed tuned for faster edge-to-edge transitions and a special carbon and domestically produced virgin nylon highback braced by two response rods for maximum torsional support. Everything about the MF-07 is built to the ceiling of what Flux can make.

Baseplate
Transfer Baseplate – A high-performance baseplate crafted from Flux’s proprietary Performance Blend material—a mix of nylon and fiberglass—designed to deliver excellent strength-to-weight ratio and direct response.
Super Carbon Blend – Special carbon is blended with domestically produced virgin nylon. The material is made to be as light and strong as possible, allowing for a high level of board control.
Boost FootOn – The footbed has a cushion height that is 4mm higher than the conventional FootOn. It prevents drag during turns, improves response when turning, and absorbs small vibrations. Of course, the surface is made of a material that does not easily get snow on it.
Adjustable Toe & Heel Cushion – A movable cushion that can be adjusted to suit boot size and board width.
Multi Disc – In addition to the conventional 4x4 screw holes, this disc is also channel-compatible.
Titanium Screws – A mounting screw that is 50% lighter and has greater strength due to the combination of titanium alloy. The XV also uses titanium for the straps and highback mounting screws.
Highback
W-Props Highback – Two rods running on the back improve the torsion performance and support of the high back. A slide cushion on the inside upper part maintains the freedom of the boot. Achieves a high level of response, support, and freedom necessary for carving.
Super Carbon Blend – Special carbon is blended with domestically produced virgin nylon. The material is made to be as light and strong as possible, allowing for a high level of board control.
Redux Lean Adjuster – A highback adjuster that offers precision adjustments when used in unison with the Flux Micro Adjuster.
Micro Adjuster – Adjust forward lean in 2.5° increments with each click for finer highback settings.
Slide Plate – Low-friction material is placed so as not to inhibit the lateral flex of the boots.
Straps
UU Fit – A system that wraps the boots from 360° by attaching a strap belt between the heel cup and the high back. This provides a natural holding feeling and equalization of pressure.

In skis and snowboards, you'll often find layers of metal, carbon or other stringers for rigidity and power, while advanced to expert level boots and bindings are usually on the stiffer side of the spectrum for rebound and precision steering.

Very Stiff The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
