The Yes. Basic Snowboard is the original that got it right—its shape and ride have stood the test of time for a reason. Featuring the CamRock profile for a perfect blend of float, pop, and control, and UnderBite edges that enhance edge hold by redistributing pressure, it delivers a confident, playful ride for beginners and seasoned riders alike. Tried, true, and totally dialed, the Basic proves sometimes the first take really is the best.
CamRock – The response of camber with the floatability of rocker. Camber between your feet acts as a spring, keeping your contact points on the ground as you go in and out of turns and allowing you to keep that edge hold longer. Once compressed the camber will accentuate the rocker and lift the nose out more, allowing it to float.
Flex Rating – 6 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)
True Twin – Symmetrically shaped with an identical nose and tail, ideal for freestyle riders and terrain park enthusiasts. A True Twin shape enables riders to ride both regular and switch stances with ease.
UnderBite – UnderBite edges re-distribute a rider’s weight in such a way that it enhances turning ease and edge hold. Creating divots inward at the binding area reduces and disrupts the surface area of the edge that has contact with the snow while the board is turning. This segmentation of the sidecut into 3 key zones focuses your body weight onto areas that initiate, hold and release turns.
Fluid Core – A lightweight wood core technology developed by YES. Snowboards, engineered to enhance flex, pop, and durability. This construction delivers a responsive and balanced ride across all terrains, making it ideal for riders seeking versatility and performance in various snow conditions.
Biax Glass Fiber Construction – Biaxial, or "Biax," fiberglass features fibers oriented in two directions—along the board’s length and width. This layout creates a well-balanced flex that offers a more forgiving, user-friendly ride. It boosts torsional flex, making turns and transitions feel smoother and more natural. Ideal for riders who value a playful, adaptable feel over aggressive performance.
Extruded – This material is formed by extrusion and is softer than sintered bases. At the speeds many riders take, this material is actually quicker than sintered bases when waxed correctly. It retains wax better because it's more porous and is easy to fix with a P-Tex stick if it gets scratched.

Flex Rating – 5 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)
Hanger 2 – Hanger 2.0 maintains the 30% fiberglass reinforcement but introduces I-Beam wall sections for added rigidity and reduced weight. This design continues the baseless concept, promoting even board flex and direct energy transfer. It also features a significantly wider platform than Hanger 1, accommodating larger boots and providing increased lateral support.
Nylon Post – The Post, a unique component of #YES Bindings. The Post is the crucial connection between the binding and the board, where the disc sits and securely attaches the two. What sets the #YES Post apart is its minimal imprint on the board, preserving the board’s full flex integrity for optimal performance.Crafted from Nylon and injected with glass fiber, the Post is both stiff and lightweight, ensuring seamless connectivity and precise energy transfer.
Flushcup Technology – Designed to hold boots even without a highback, these have a flush inner surface where the highback meets the heelcup. This gives direct energy transfer between boot and binding.
Canted Comfort Footpillow
Relaxed Back Highback – The Relaxed Back Highback from #YES Bindings, designed for comfort and efficiency on the mountain. This highback stands out with its design, featuring strategically cut-out areas that enhance the natural flex and fit. These modifications serve a dual purpose: they reduce the overall weight of the highback and increase its inherent comfort, eliminating the need for additional padding. It contours intuitively to your boot, providing a supportive feel that naturally aligns with your movements. Perfect for snowboarders on their path of progression, the Relaxed Back Highback is like a reliable friend on the slopes.
Y-Sense Ankle Strap – Minimalistic Profile, Seamless Wrapping. The Y-Sense strap is designed to be lightweight and low-profile, delivering the right amount of support where it counts. With its precision-engineered pattern, it flexes and tightens seamlessly, wrapping around any boot for the perfect fit.
Stretch Fit Toe Strap – Sometimes what works best is a simple, streamlined, minimalist design, and for this - a 3D strap with Stretch-fit is offered.
Nylon with Glass Fiber Buckle Levers – Our Glass Fiber buckle levers, crafted from a blend of Nylon and glass fiber. Stiff and solid, these levers provide a quick and secure strap-in process.
Skate Tech – Inspired by how easily and efficiently a skateboard turns, Skate Tech mimics the function of skateboard trucks. Traditional bindings diminish energy transfer by flexing and bending the baseplate, forcing you to crank straps down harder, ride with more forward lean, or run taller and stiffer highbacks. Skate Tech bindings bypass the middle of the snowboard and direct your energy right onto the board's edges, transfering more power to the board with less work.
Bushings – Soft (40 Shore)
