Free-The-Ride Camber – Designed for all-mountain prowess and float in the deep. Rockered in the nose, flat under the front foot, with a positive cambered tail.

7 mm Taper – Built into directional boards built with wider noses than tails helping with agile turns and added float in deep snow.
Directional Diamond 3D – Diamond 3D is designed for edge-catch-free riding and crazy float in powder. The Directional Diamond 3D is found only in the board's nose to help float in deep powder and crank long, smooth turns. Built for premium pow performance, while still being reliable on groomers.

If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice. Powder Powder snowboards love powder. Often associated with freeride snowboards, powder boards sometimes feature a wider nose and a tapered narrower tail. The binding inserts, which determine the rider's stance, are often set back on a powder snowboard to help the rider float the tip of the board through the deep stuff. Powder snowboards sometimes also feature rocker, a design element where the tip (and tail) rise starts farther back on the board, which also helps the rider maintain tip float through the pow.
